Welcome to the Colorado Council on High School & College Relations' listserv! Please use this listserv as a professional forum to discuss issues, find answers, post open positions and survey your colleagues. Please post at your leisure. Information on how to post messages and manage your account are listed below. Please keep in mind that your postings will be distributed to all on the list. This list is administered by the Admissions Office at Colorado Mesa University. Please send any comments or questions to Jared Meier at jmeier@coloradomesa.edu. Additionally, Colorado Council has developed listserv posting guidelines to help clarify what is and is not appropriate for subscribers to post to the listserv. We know this is an important way to communicate with colleagues across the state and want to ensure that everyone has a positive experience. Poor manners are not respected on the list. Always be civil, don't use profanity. Don't be lewd, abrasive, argumentative, or rude. Postings are to be of a professional nature. This is not a forum for commercial marketing messages, religious or other debates where individual's passions become inflamed. This rule is not meant to squelch legitimate, sometimes heated discussion. It is meant to discourage publicly waged attacks. If there is a topic that could benefit from further discussion, please consider posting to the Colorado Council Facebook page so that we can keep a historical archive of relevant resources and discussions. Please note that relevant job postings are permitted on the listserv. Messages should include your name, institution, phone number and email address so others can respond to you personally when appropriate rather than responding to the entire listserv. Do not use REPLY to respond to a posted message unless it is intended to be posted to the listserv. Attachments are NOT allowed. This helps prevent viruses from spreading. You can include a URL address that points to a document on an outside site (coloradocouncil.org, collegeincolorado.org, etc). Posting of copyrighted material is prohibited. Do not post clippings from the New York Times or other copyrighted publications. Instead, provide a web link in your message, along with a short summary of the article's content. All messages you post to the listserv are moderated, meaning it must be approved before it is posted. The listserv moderator will attempt to be fair and interpret these guidelines broadly. However, flagrant abusers of the rules will be removed from the listserv. We respectfully request your cooperation in the following these guidelines. Using CCHSCR
To post a message to all the list members, send email to cchscr@mesa5.coloradomesa.edu. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to CCHSCR
Subscribe to CCHSCR by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a public list, which means that the list of members list is available to everyone. (but we obscure the addresses so they are not easily recognizable by spammers). Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
